Workshop Announcement

This is the fourth of a series of annual two-day workshops on the numerical treatment of stochastic partial differential equations held previously in Manchester (2007), Zürich (2008) and Edinburgh (2009). The workshop addresses researchers from numerical analysis and stochastics as well as applications in science and engineering.

Invited Speakers

  • Andrew Stuart, University of Warwick
  • George Karniadakis, Brown University
  • Christoph Schwab, ETH Zürich
  • Klaus Ritter, TU Kaiserslautern
  • Gabriel Lord, Heriot-Watt University
  • Andrew Cliffe, University of Nottingham
  • Wolfgang Nowak, University of Stuttgart
  • Rob Scheichl, University of Bath

  • Oliver Ernst (TU Freiberg)
  • Hans-Jörg Starkloff (Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau)

The workshop is hosted by the Institute of Numerical Analysis and Optimization, TU Bergakademie Freiberg and will take place on the university campus.
