Please register to the workshop before April 20, 2000. Preferably this can be done online using the registration form. If this does not work or is not appropriate please use this form and send it to the organizers before April 20, 2000.
If you want to give a talk at the workshop please submit an (extended) abstract of not more than 4 pages preferably written in LATEX using the style and format which can be downloaded here. Abstracts written in Word are also welcome. Please submit the abstract by e-mail or on a MS-DOS formatted diskette. We will publish the abstract in the Preprint series of the Fakultät für Mathematik und Informatik of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg as well as in the Web on the site of the workshop: http://www.mathe.tu-freiberg.de/ dempe/Holzhau/. The abstract is needed before April 20, 2000. The lecture room will be equipped with an overhead projector and a small blackboard.
The workshop will work from Tuesday, May 23, 2000 to Friday, May 26, 2000. The opening session will start on Tuesday at 14.00. The Workshop office will be open from 9.00 on Tuesday. If you plan to come already on Monday please contact the organizers. The first meal is lunch on Tuesday and the last one is lunch on Friday.
You can reach Holzhau either by train or by car. Trains to Holzhau go via Freiberg. Trains from Freiberg to Holzhau leave Freiberg e.g. at 07:58, 9:58, 11:58. If you come from Dresden you have to change the train at Freiberg. Trains from Dresden to Freiberg leave at 7:03, 9:03, 11:03 at Dresden Hauptbahnhof (Main Railway Station).
For reaching Holzhau by car first drive to Dresden or to Freiberg and then use either the route from Dresden given here or that from Freiberg plotted in this picture. The routes are also listed here for Dresden--Holzhau and for Freiberg--Holzhau.
